Sha the sheep (animatronic appearance)

Sha's animatronic

Sha is an animatronic and one of the four Showstoppers of Bon's Burgers.

Description

Sha is one of the main animatronics in the series: The Walten Files. She appears in every single video up to date (including the non-canon ones, shown in an alternate form). She is a member of the Showstoppers and seems to be the second most important member besides Bon.

She was originally supposed to serve as an entertainment animatronic for the new restaurant franchise Bon's Burgers, and was operational from Bon's burger official opening on june 28th, 1974 to july 20th after a woman's screams were heard around the area and the building was condemned.

After the disappearance of Jack walten and Bon's burgers official opening, Rosemary Walten, his wife, often visited the restaurant to look for him. On July 19th, Bon, possibly haunted by the spirit of Jack, lured Rosemary into the employee only area of the restaurant. He then proceeded to dismember the woman and stuff her remains inside Sha. This (along with all the other suspicious disappearances caused by Bon) later led to the restaurants closing and all the animatronics including Sha being partially dismantled and put into storage.

In the company introductory tape, Sha is not very present, only being seen in small cameos like in Little Bon's Neighbourhood and the stage performance shown at the beginning of the video.

In the relocation project video, sha is present in the Technical support section: A little cartoon version of her is used to introduce new employees on how to manage the relocation project. During this section, she glitches out multiple times and the video subsequently cuts to a sort of "flashback" in which the events of Rosemary Walten’s death is shown.

In Bunnyfarm, Sha is present as a character in the game: her minigame consists of a hide and seek game, in which the player (Sophie) has to look for her then hide from her.

Appearance

In her intact animatronic form, Sha has a humanoid figure and is completely white save for her belly, face and ears, which are yellow, and her silver arm and leg covers. She seems to have reddish brown eyes which look red in a few of her appearances. Her only item of clothing is a collar with a golden tag which states her name on it. She is obviously reminiscent of a sheep, sporting fluffy white hair, long drooped ears and a snout. Curiously, she seems to have pointed teeth, which is quite unfitting of her sheep-like appearance.

In her damaged animatronic form, Sha looks very dirty resulting in a more dull and grey-ish appearance. She is also seen with multiple holes throughout her body and face, including a large gash through her chest. She no longer has silver covers on her arms and legs, letting her Animatronic endoskeleton show.

Her cartoon form in Company introductory tape and Relocation project is almost completely identical to her animatronic appearance while being more simple and cute.

In Bunnyfarm, Sha is visibly more fluffy and has black fingers and hooves. Her outfit consists of a red and white stripped dress, her blue and gold collar, and a red and yellow flower in her hair.

Personality

While Sha's personality isn't explored in depth in the series, it can be deduced by her behaviour in the bunnyfarm cutscenes that she is a typical sweet and motherly character, seemingly being the mature and grounded member of the showstoppers, befitting of her appearance of a sheep, which are usually portrayed as gentle and mild mannered creatures.

Boozoo’s Ghosts

In Boozoo’s Ghosts, Sha represents the second ghost Boozoo is visited by, The Jolly Ghost of Present Times. Her appearance is very similar to Sha from the canon tapes except she now has yellow fur, wears a blue Jester Hat, has red arms with long claws, legs with long sharp nails, a blue bow tie with green dots, and has Christmas lights strung all over her body. She seems rather happy as she has toys which she enjoys and uses them to show Boozoo the present, suffering Banny, and what her family was going through. She can also be very rude as she tells Boozoo she represents the living representation of his own grief, except no where near as ugly. When Boozoo refuses to cooperate, she becomes very cruel similar to how Sad reacted with Boozoo when he wouldn’t stop lying. She kills two dolls which represent Banny’s kids. Killing off the dolls she tells Boozoo he’s to blame thanks to his selfishness and greed. After tormenting Boozoo and taunting him, he gets transported to the dark hallway to see Mortality.

Trivia

  • Sha is often confused with a poodle because of her canine-like teeth
  • She also has a ability to directly talk to Sophie through the bunny farm arcade game seen in the Walten Files 3
  • Sha's hide and seek game represents Bon shoving Rosemary's remains inside Sha.
  • Sha is confirmed to be possessed by the ghost of Rosemary Walten.
  • In the Relocation Project video, the poster of her changes to show her emotions. When she is saying her reversed line, the pupils of her poster self shrink, and the poster looks visibly distressed. When she is crying dark material (her tears) the poster changes to Rosemary Waltens portrait.
